Kolkata, Oct 25 (IBNS) A fine hat-trick by striker Rhian Brewster guided England to enter the final of U 17 World Cup soccer outplaying three times champions Brazil 3-1 at Vibekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan here Wednesday evening.

Brewster struck home for England in the 10th, 38th and 77th minute while defender Wesley  reduced the margin for Brazil  around midway through the first half..

In the title clash to be  held in Kolkata on October 28,  England , who made their first entry into the final of this tournament today , will meet the winners of the other semi final between Spain and  Mali scheduled at Navi Mumbai  later tonight..

Inspite of  vociferous support from a packed stadium Brazil, who had played five finals winning three of them earlier, failed to live up  to the expactation  and were a little off colour this evening. Though they made some goal bound moves with short passes , they failed to finish  except once.

England  looked more purposeful and  demolished the latin American giant with a neat and compact  display  with more thrust in their attack which the Brazilians failed to contain. They rose to the occasion nicely utilizing their wing play  and  cashed in on most of the opportunities which came in their way.

It was Brazil,  who started promisingly and  went into attack right after the kick off . They also had more possession of the ball initially. But alert England defense not only thwarted them all, they also took the lead against the run of play.  Following a counter  attack in the 10th minute, England striker Rhian  Brewster  took a shot to Brazil goal which  was chasted out by  Brazil keeper Gabriel Brazao. Off the rebound  Brewrer placed it home to put England one up (1-0).

Stunned by the reverse the Brazilians  pressed up their attack for an equalizer   and made several moves on rival goal mouth. After forward Lincoln failed connect a beautiful pass, Defender Wesley, who moved up from right,  restored parity for the ormer champions  when  his powerful shot from close hit the left post and went in ( 1-1).

England , who fought with  the former champions  on equal terms , snatched the lead  again ten minutes later. This time Brewster  collecting a pass from defender Steven Sessegnon again beat Brazilian custodian with a neat placing ( 2-1). Earlier in the 30th minute Brazilian forward Brenner wated the easiest opportunity of the day  shooting away from close with only keeper under the bar and all the time at his disposal.

The second  half saw  the Selcao going all out  but lost their way after reaching the rival box. England keeper also made a couple of good saves , specially one off Yuri Alberto in the 63rd minute to keep their fort in tact.

England who demonstrated a compact game hit the last nail on Brazil,s coffin  as Rhian Brewster  completed his hattrick in the 77th minute beautifully connecting ,while on the run,   a nice cross  by  Emile Smith Rowe  who came to play in the second half ( 3-1).(EOM)
