Gaston Sangoy, a 31 year Argentinian striker has previously won the Cyprus Cup in 2009-10 and more recently, the Polish I Liga in 2015-16. He has represented some of the major clubs throughout his career including Sporting Gijon, Apollon and Boca Juniors.

Joining Sangoy, would be Uruguayan center back, Walter Ibáñez who has spent a major part of his career playing for the top divisions in South America. Ibáñez has been the recipient of the Peru Copa Inca in 2014 and the Top Chilean League in 2014-15.

Speaking about the signings, Alexandre Guimaraes, Coach, Mumbai City FC said, “Gaston is a proven striker and a goal getter. He is a great asset up front and will always keep the opposition on their toes. Walter is a winner and if you see over the last two seasons, he has had over 60 appearances.
