Mumbai/IBNS: Businessman Anand Mahindra is one of the cricket fans who has hailed former Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his match-winning knock against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday.

Mahindra, the chairman of Mahindra Group, has said he was glad that his company name consists of the letters M, A, H, I or together Mahi, which is the nickname of Dhoni.

Mahindra tweeted, "Well, all I can say is that I’m glad we have the letters MAHI in Mahi-ndra! #MSDhoni Awesome finish."

A reincarnation of finisher Dhoni powered Chennai to register their second IPL 2022 victory on Thursday, virtually ending Mumbai all hope in the race to the playoffs.

Chasing a modest target of 156 set by Mumbai, Chennai, powered by Dhoni's unbeaten 28 off 13 balls, scored the required runs in 20 overs with three wickets in hand.
