Halle: Alexander Zverev beat Roger Federer in semi-finals
Halle, June 18 (IBNS) Germany's young Alexander Zverev put up a strong show as he stunned Swiss Tennis legend Roger Federer by beating him in the semi-finals of the Gerry Webber Open in Halle.
The German beat his strong opponent by 6-7, 7-5, 3-6 .
Federer has not won a title since October last year.
His chance of winning his ninth title at Halle was ended after a clash that lasted for two hours and six minutes.
Federer's young German opponent reached his second finals on the ATP World Tour.
