Hong Kong, Nov 27 (IBNS): Indian badminton star PV Sindhu, who on the silver medal at the Olympics this year, lost the final of the Hong Kong Open tournament here on Sunday.

The Indian was defeated by Tai Tzu-Ying of Chinese Taipei in the final clash.

Tai defeated Sindhu by 21-15, 21-17.

Sindhu settled for the silver with the loss.
