Mumbai/UNI: After an exciting first episode of Cricket Connected, Star Sports have brought on board former England captain Nasser Hussain and Team India legends VVS Laxman, Gautam Gambhir and Kris Srikkanth for the second instalment that will be aired on Saturday.

The show will be hosted by Jatin Sapru at 1900 hrs and 2100 hrs on the Star Sports network and Disney+ Hotstar app.

Among the discussions this week will be the future of M S Dhoni, who last played international cricket during Team India's semi-final exit against New Zealand at the 2019 ICC World Cup in England.

The experts on the show will weigh in on India opener Rohit Sharma being left out of this year's Wisden list and will also look back at the 'Little Master' Sunil Gavaskar rewriting history books in 1971, when he notched up 774 runs against West Indies in the series.

While the world of sport has come to a grinding halt and with cricket-starved fans eagerly waiting for enriching content, 'Cricket Connected' has been their one-stop destination to engage with their favourite experts and keep them connected with the sport they love.

Every week, ‘Cricket Connected’ gives fans an opportunity to connect with experts through different segments such as ‘#AskStar’ & ‘Cricket Recreated’, giving them an opportunity to share their favourite cricket moments and get featured on the show.

With an aim to involve young fans, a special segment ‘Kids Connected’ will give Gen Next a chance to share home-made videos of themselves doing commentary from which the experts will choose a winner from the selected lot.
