ICC announces Sunset + Vine as Production Partner and Broadcast Solutions as OB Equipment Provider

Dubai, Dec 7 (IBNS)The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the appointment of Sunset + Vine as its Live Production Partner and Broadcast Solutions as OB Equipment Provider for all televised ICC Events, from 2016 to 2019.

Campbell Jamieson, General Manager – Commercial, International Cricket Council, said: “ICC has taken live production in house for the first time and are looking forward to a successful relationship with Sunset + Vine and Broadcast Solutions. ICC aims to provide innovative and compelling coverage of its events using first class broadcast technology to service its fans via Star Sports, ICC’s global broadcast partner, and its other media rights partners. 

Jeff Foulser, Chairman of Sunset+Vine, commented: “It’s a real honour and privilege to be awarded this amazing contract. Cricket coverage has been in this company’s DNA since the late 1990’s when we introduced innovations like Hawk-Eye and the Snickometer to Channel 4’s coverage and we look forward to working closely with the ICC’s broadcast rights holders to deliver exciting and compelling coverage for their viewers around the world.”

Managing Director of Broadcast Solutions, Saeed Izadi, said: “Broadcast Solutions is extremely honored to be entrusted with the OB Equipment contract for ICC’s flagship events. Broadcast Solutions has a long history of supplying equipment for ICC events, having covered all major events since 2007 including two ICC Cricket World Cups.
