Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has broken his silence on rumours involving him and Sania Mirza and said those circulating such news online should think before sharing such memes.

"It is a weird news that has been circulated online," Shami told a Youtube channel.

He commented at a time when several social media posts are speculating that Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and Shami are planning to get married.

"Memes are made for fun but one should not create such things when they hit the personal life of a person," he said.

"I am asking them to show their guts and share such news from verified accounts and then I will give them a proper reply," Shami said giving a strong response to those who are circulating such news online.

"I will ask these people to achieve success and help others rather than mocking others. Then I can say that you are a good person," he said.

Shami is one of the top Indian fast bowlers who was part of three 50-over World Cup squads.

He was part of the World Cup team which lost the final match against Australia in November.
