India enters u-18 Asia Cup hockey tournament final by defeating Pakistan

Dhaka, Sep 29 (IBNS): India defeated Pakistan 3-1 to to enter the finals of the fourth men's Under-18 Asia Cup hockey tournament on Thursday, media reported.

Tweeted Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports (IC) Vijay Goel, "#India defeat #Pakistan in #Dhaka!"

The first goal was scored by Shivan Anand in the seventh minute of the game.

Dilpreet Singh converted a penalty corner to score the second goal soon after play began post half-time.

The third goal came from the stick of team captain, Nilam Sanjeep Xess, at the 46th minute when he managed to convert another penalty corner.

One hour into the game, Pakistan's Amjad Ali Khan managed to net the solitary goal for his team.

India will meet hosts Bangladesh in the finals on Friday.
