India reach 101, highest FIFA ranking in two decades

New Delhi, Apr 7 (IBNS): India have moved up on the FIFA ranking list to the 101 position.

This is India's highest FIFA ranking in two decades.

India had touched 173rd ranking few years ago.

The Indian team now ranks 11th in Asia.

India's highest ranking so far was 94 which it had reached in February 1996.

India have won 11 international matches,out of the 13, the team have played since March 2015.

Brazil is currently the number one side in the world.

The ranking was released by FIFA on Thursday.
