India takes third Australian wicket
Sydney, Mar 26 (IBNS): R Ashwin took the third wicket for India as he took the wicket of Glenn Maxwell (23) as Australia stood at 232 for the loss of three wickets in the crucial semi-final match of the World Cup here on Thursday.
Caught by Ajinkya Rahane, Ashwin took the wicket of Maxwell who put pressure on the Indian bowlers by playing a hurricane knock of 14-ball 23.
He smashed three boundaries and six in his knock.
Australia have lost the wickets of David Warner (12), Steve Smith (105) and Maxwell so far.
After 38 overs, Australia have scored 233 for the loss of three wickets.
Aaron Finch (81*) and Shane Watson (0*) are at the crease.
