Indian mixed doubles pair win Brazil Grand Prix badminton tournament
New Delhi, Sep 5 (IBNS): In badminton, India's mixed doubles pair of Sikki Reddy and Pranaav Jerry Chopra clinched the Brazil Open Grand Prix, according to media reports on Monday.
The top seeded Indian players won their maiden mixed doubles Grand Pix title by defeating the second seeded Canadian pair, Toby Ng and Rachel Honderich, 21-15 21-16.
The Indian players were ranked 65 in the world as they arrived at the tournament.
The finals were played at Costa Cavalcante in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil.
