IPL 2023: Yashasvi Jaiswal's century in vain as Mumbai Indians chase down 213 against Rajasthan Royals

Mumbai/IBNS: Young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal's century went in vain as Mumbai Indians chased down 213 as target set by Rajasthan Royals in the 42nd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 here on Sunday.

Batting first, Rajasthan scored 212/7 in 20 overs.

Jaiswal was the lone batter to pull Rajasthan innings scoring 124 off just 62 balls.

In his mammoth innings, Jaiswal slammed 16 fours and 8 sixes.

With three balls to spare, Mumbai scored 214/4 with the support of multiple batters who significantly contributed to the win.

Suryakumar Yadav (55 off 29 balls), Tim David (45 not out off 14 balls) and Cameron Green (44 off 26 balls) were the top scorers for the hosts in the 1000th IPL match.
