IPL: Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets

Kolkata, Apr 12 (IBNS): Shikhar Dhawan smashed an unbeaten 97 and guided Delhi Capitals to a seven-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the 26th match of IPL 2019 here tonight.

Batting first, Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders scored a competitive 178 riding on Shubman Gill's 65 off 39 balls.

A.D. Russell scored a quick-fire 45 off 21 balls.

Delhi Capitals scored the winning runs with seven balls to spare.

The highest scorer of the side was Shikhar Dhawan who smashed 97 off 63 balls.
