Kolkata/IBNS: Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishav Pant won the toss and opted to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL clash at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Monday (Apr 29).

Winning the toss here, Rishav Pant said Prithvi Shaw has come back to the squad, and Kushagra missed out, while Rasikh Dar will be starting in place of Mukesh.

KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer said he would choose to bowl first if won the toss.

"We are trying to keep things as simple as possible. When you lose a game like that, even after scoring 260, it is easy for people to go away from each other and backbite. But we are keeping everyone together," Iyer said.

The KKR captain added that Mitchell Starc and Vaibhav Arora are back in the squad.

Kolkata Knight Riders XI: Philip Salt(w), Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer(c), Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Mitchell Starc, Vaibhav Arora, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakaravarthy.

Delhi Capitals XI: Prithvi Shaw, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abishek Porel, Shai Hope, Rishabh Pant(w/c), Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Rasikh Dar Salam, Lizaad Williams, Khaleel Ahmed.
