Kei Nishikori pulls out of Wimbledon with injury
London, July 1 (IBNS): Ending his hopes of clinching a title, Japanese Tennis star Kei Nishikori on Wednesday has pulled out of the Wimbledon even as he fought with a calf injury in the first round against Italy's Simone Bolelli earlier.
He withdrew from the tournament ahead of his clash against Colombian Santiago Giraldo.
Giraldo moved to the third round of the Grand Slam.
"It got better before the first match, you know, last week," Nishikori was quoted as saying by wimbledon.com.
