Kolkata: Anshul Mishra wins IGU Tolly Juniors

Kolkata, September 9: Local lad Anshul Mishra scripted a comfortable wire to wire three stroke win with a score of 150 at the IGU Tolly Juniors played at the Par 70 Tollygunge Club here on Friday.

Guhmehr Bindra and Suveer Kapoor took the next two places on the podium at 153 & 154 respectively. This was the second leg of the IGU East Zone Sub Junior & Feeder Tour for 2021 season.

Anshul also took home the Category B title in which, Rudraksha Banerjee finished as a runner up five strokes behind at 155. Armaan Tekriwal finished third a further 13 strokes behind.

Category C saw Prashant Agarwal register another win on the tour with a score of 159 while Arjunveer Shishir finished runners up four strokes behind and Biswkrit Ghosh in third a further eight strokes behind. Similarly in Category D, Varish Mohta continued his dominance with an emphatic victory leaving Aryan Pal and Hredaan Raj Bihani in second and third places.

Category E saw Julinka Roychowdhury finish top while amongst the girls, Anaahat Bindra won the Category A&B combined along with Category B and Ananya Roy in second. Category C was won by Dhanvi Patel.
