Hyderabad, Feb 7 (IBNS): Indian team coach Anil Kumble remembered Feb 7 as 18 years ago on this day he had picked up 10 wickets in an innings, a rare achivement in the world of international cricket.

With 619 Test wickets and 334 ODI wickets, Kumble is considered one of the most successful bowlers in India.

Kumble’s 10/74 against Pakistan at Feroze Shah Kotla on Feb 7, 1999, is considered one of the best bowling figures in the history of the game.

It was only after England’s Jim Laker, Kumble became the second man to pick up 10 wikcets in an innings.

"Thank you for bringing back the memories of that game. One of my most cherished cricketing moment," Kumble tweeted to one his fans who had shared a small clip of the match.
