Men's Hockey Quarterfinal Paris Olympics 2024: India beats Great Britain in shoot-out to enter semis

Paris: India on Sunday advanced to the semi-finals of the Paris Olympics 2024 men's hockey after defeating Great Britain in a shoot-out at Stade Yves-du-Manoir.

Despite being reduced to 10 men in the 17th minute, India took the lead with Harmanpreet Singh's seventh goal of the tournament.

Harmanpreet converted a penalty corner in the 22nd minute, but Lee Morton equalized for Great Britain five minutes later following the sending off of Amit Rohidas.

The match ended 1-1 after full-time, but India secured their place in the semi-finals by winning the shoot-out 4-2.
