Mohali Test: Sri Lanka scores 108/4 at stumps against India, trail by 466 runs

Mohali: Sri Lanka lost four wickets in its course of scoring 104 runs in the first innings, still trailing India by 466 runs here on Saturday.

India declared at 574 runs for the loss of eight wickets on the second day of the match.

Dimuth Karunaratne (28), Lahiru Thirimanne (17), Angelo Mathews (22) and Dhananjaya de Silva  (1) departed as Indian bowlers dominated the proceedings.

Ravichandran Ashwin picked up two wickets for India and remained pic bowler of the day for the home side.

Ravindra Jadeja smashed unbeaten 175 runs while R Ashwin added 61 runs with the willow as India posted 574 runs.

Jadeja remained a strong performer with the willow as he hit 17 boundaries and three sixes in the knock.
