Southampton, June 22 (IBNS): Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has once being trolled on internet for his slow batting during the World Cup match against Afghanistan on Saturday.

Batting at number five, Dhoni failed to accelerate his innings and was dismissed at 28 after playing 52 balls. He hit only three boundaries in the match.

Prince Charles tweeted, "Every indian to dhoni"

"Just Shitty from Dhoni and Kedar, Dont blame it on the pitch...Kohli played it beautifully....u r the chosen 11 from a billion ppl...wow..!" one user said.

Another user said: "One day cricket to dhoni now"

One user trolled the former skipper saying, "Dhoni shouldn't have retired from test cricket "

Afghanistan, who are yet to win a match in the World Cup, restricted India to 224/8 in 50 overs. Indian skipper Virat Kohli (67) and Kedar Jadhav (52) were the top scorers.
