On completing his move Kali said, “It’s a pleasure to be a part of the Mumbai FC squad. The club has made some good signings recently and the squad will keep on getting stronger as we train together. I hope to play a big part in the upcoming season for Mumbai FC. I am itching to play the I-League and Federation Cup again.”

The 30-year-old center back has previously played for Air India, Salgaocar, Mahindra United and more recently with Mumbai Tigers.

Kali added, “I have always liked playing in Mumbai. My time at Air India and Mahindra United was quite fruitful and I am really excited to start a new chapter at Mumbai FC.”

Dy. Vice President Atul Badgamia confirmed, “Yes, we have signed Kali to strengthen our defence. He will provide depth to the squad and his experience will help him gel with the team very quickly.”
