Narendra Modi writes special message for Indian teen chess sensation R Praggnanandhaa on Twitter

New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday appreciated the victory of Indian teen chess sensation R Praggnanandhaa and said the nation is rejoicing in his success.

"We are all rejoicing on the success of the young genius R Praggnanandhaa. Proud of his accomplishment of winning against the noted champion Magnus Carlsen. I wish the talented Praggnanandhaa the very best for his future endeavours," Modi tweeted.

Praggnandhaa (16) is the youngest grandmaster of all time.

He left  Magnus Carlsen defeated in the eighth round of the Airthings Masters.
