Pink Ball Test: Sourav Ganguly clicks selfie with spectators, appreciates 'tremendous atmosphere'

Kolkata/IBNS: Amid the tremendously busy schedule, BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly, who is himself leading the administrative team in making the eventful Pink Ball test in Kolkata a memorable journey, found some time to click a selfie with the crowd cherishing the first day of the game in the iconic Eden Gardens in the city.

Ganguly shared the selfie on his Twitter page with the caption that read: "Tremendous atmosphere at Eden for the pink test @JayShah @bcci."

Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina arrived in the stadium on Friday morning to commence the proceedings with state CM Mamata Banerjee by ringing the Eden bell.


Bangladesh scored 73/6 at supper on day 1 of the day-night Pink Ball Test match against India at Eden Gardens here on Friday.Shadman Islam scored 29 off 52 balls.Wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das is still unbeaten at 24 off 27 balls.

Except Islam and Das, no other batsman could touch a two-digit score.Umesh Yadav picked three wickets for 29 runs.Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami picked two and one wickets respectively.
