President congratulates Dhoni and his men for beating Ireland

New Delhi, Mar 10 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee congratulated Indian team for posting their fifth win in the ongoing World Cup as they defeated Ireland by eight wickets in a group stage clash on Tuesday.

In his tweet, the President said, “Bravo & well done Team India on the 5th straight win in the ICC World Cup 2015 by winning today`s match against Ireland.”

Shikhar Dhawan hit his second century in the World Cup as India defeated Ireland by eight wickets to register their fifth straight win in the 50-over mega event.

Bowling out Ireland for 259 runs, Indian batsmen reached the target of 260 runs by losing two wickets with 79 balls to spare.
