Punam Yadav, Manu Bhaker win golds at Commonwealth Games

New Delhi, Apr 8 (IBNS): India received its fifth gold medal on Sunday with weightlifter Punam Yadav winning the same at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.

She clinched the gold medal in the women’s 69kg weightlifting event.

 

Besides her, Manu Bhaker also  bagged gold and took India's gold medal count to six.

Bhaker won the gold at women's 10m Air Pistol finals event. 

Heena Sidhu also claimed a silver in the same event.
