Pune FC Under-17s enter maiden final

Pune, Sept 29 (IBNS) Pune FC Under-17s reached their maiden final scoring a hard-fought 4-0 win over Dalbir Football Academy at Patiala in the 12th Administrator's Cup at the Section 42, Football Ground in Chandigarh.

Victory was Pune FC's fourth-in-a-row after they won all their group matches with absolute ease and scoring 17 goals in three matches.

The semi-final win over the local outfit was powered by an Aniket Jadhav brace (83', 90+1') after Amos Lalnienga (24th), Omega (45th) began the good work. So far, Aniket has scored in every match and has eight goals to his credit.   

In the final, Pune FC takes on Mahilpur Football Academy who beat Sahayatri Academy, Howrah 2-1 on Tuesday.

Earlier, in the group stage, Pune FC, who were clubbed in Group C, hammered Dashmesh Marshal Sports, Anandpur Sahib 8-0, Thau Sports Academy, Imphal 2-0 and Madhya Pradesh Football Association 7-0.
