PV Sindhu defeats Sun Yu to clinch China Open title

Beijing, Nov 20 (IBNS): Indian badminton star PV Sindhu created history again on Sunday with her win at the prestigious China Open in Fuzhou.

She defeated local favourite Sun Yu to clinch the title.

This is her maiden Super Series title.

Sindhu beat Sun 21-11, 17-21, 21-11 in the finale that continued for an hour and nine minutes.

She won the Olympics silver medal earlier this year.
