PV Sindhu scripts history, wins BWF World Tour Finals tournament
New Delhi, Dec 16 (IBNS): Scripting history PV Sindhu on Sunday became the first Indian to win the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals tournament.
Sindhu beat Nozomi Okuhara in the title clash.
She claimed a 21-19, 21-17 win in the final.
This is the Indian shuttler's first title of the year.
The win is especially significant as Sindhu was unable to win a single tournament this year.
