Mumbai, Sept 12 (IBNS) As the BCCI took an initiative to protect the interest of the players of Rajasthan and to enable their participation in the upcoming domestic season, the Rajasthan High Court on Friday agreed to the following composition of the selection committees:

Seniors:

Rajinder Singh Hans (National selector), Sanjay Vyas, Vivek Bhan Singh, Najmul Hussain, Vinod Mathur, Bharat Bhushan.

Juniors:

Pritam Gandhe (National selector), Sukhvinder Singh, Pramod Yadav, Kuldeep Mathur.

Women:

Hemlata Kala (National selector), Megha Gour, Shabana Khan, Pratima Bharti.

Mr. Amrit Mathur will be the coordinator for all the selection committees and he will be assisted by Mr. Taposh Chatterjee. The Court also observed that the selection committees appointed would continue to exist till the RCA matter is resolved. However, in case of any issue, liberty has been given to approach the Court for appropriate orders. The Court has directed the BCCI appointed Ad-hoc committee to protect the interest of Rajasthan cricketers.

BCCI is committed to take all the steps to promote the interests of players and provide them every opportunity and inputs to showcase their talent on the cricket field.

On behalf of BCCI, principal legal advisor of the board, Mr. UN Banarjee argued the matter.
