Saina Nehwal loses in World Championship semis

Glasgow, Aug 26 (IBNS): In a setback for India, Saina Nehwal was defeated in the World Championship semi-finals by Japanese opponent here on Saturday.

Saina was defeated in the crucial clash by Nazomi Okuhara in 73 minutes.

The final scoreline read  21-12 17-21 10-21.

The Japanese player will face  PV Sindhu or Chen Yufei of China in the final of the tournament.

Despite defeat, Saina ensured a medal for India
