Sangakkara hits record fourth successive ODI century
Hobart, Mar 11 (IBNS) Sri Lankan wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara set a new record by becoming the first batsman to score four successive one-day international centuries during a World Cup clash against Scotland on Wednesday.
He scored 124 runs in the match as Sri Lanka posted 363 runs for the loss of nine wickets against Scotland.
Bowling out the Scots 215 runs, Sri Lanka won the match by 148 runs.
Sangakkara hammered 13 boundaries and four sixes in his 95-ball innings.
