Second Test: Day 2 called off due to heavy rains
Dhaka, July 31 (IBNS) Incessant rains prevented any play from happening on the day two of the second test match between Bangladesh and South Africa here on Friday.
Cyclone Komen took its toll on the cricket match, as puddles were formed all over the Mirpur Cricket Stadium.
Umpires decide to call off the day as no play would have been possible even if there were no further rain delays.
The players from both the teams didn’t leave their hotel.
Match is expected to begin on early Saturday to make up for the lost time.
