Shikhar Dhawan hits century

Melbourne, Feb 22 (IBNS) Shikhar Dhawan hit a boundary to reach his century in the crucial match of the World Cup against South Africa here on Sunday.

Dhawan, who strongly returned to form since  last Sunday's match against Pakistan, smashed unbeaten 122-ball 103.

He hit 14 boundaries in his knock.

India have scored 183 runs for the loss  of two wickets after 35 overs.

Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane (28*) are currently at the crease.

India have lost the wickets of Rohit Sharma (0) and Virat Kohli (46).

Imran Tahir has picked up the wicket of Kohli.
