SK Yashin stakes claim at the Royal Juniors Open

Kolkata, Apr 6 (IBNS): Homegrown lad SK Yashin staked his claimed to the Royal Juniors Open with an opening 74 to lead by three strokes at the Par 72 Royal Calcutta Golf Club.

Rajvir Randhawa is placed second at 77 one stroke ahead of the duo of Tapas Sardar and Rajib Ali. Md. Rohit, Nishikarsh Sachdeva and Udayjit Bhalotia are tied for the fifth place a further stroke behind.

Amongst the girls, Chitrangada Singh leads the rest of the field by six strokes. Arav Sanghavi shot an 82 to lead the Category C boys by three over Joysurjo Dey and Kaushal Bagrodia while Fizza Ali is ahead of Aahana Kapoor by a whopping 15 strokes.
