T20 clash: England win toss, opt to bowl first against India

Ahmedabad/UNI: England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to field first against Virat Kohli-led India in the first T20I of the five-match series, here on Friday.

India rested Rohit Sharma for this match and Shikhar Dhawan-KL Rahul will open. Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal are three spinners.

On the other hand, England opted for five pacers and a lone spinner in Adil Rashid.

India: KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli(c), Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(w), Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal
