T20 World Cup: England win toss, elect to bowl first against India in semi final 2

England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the second semi final of the T20 World Cup 2022 at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide on Thursday.

England have made two changes to their side since the last game.

Dawid Malan and Mark Wood are not playing the match and they are replaced by Philip Salt and Chris Jordan.

India captain Rohit Sharma, who said he would have chosen batting first anyway had he won the toss, said no change was introduced in the squad since the last match against Zimbabwe.

The winner of the match will take on Pakistan, who reached the final by thrashing New Zealand a day ago, on Sunday.

England XI: Jos Buttler(w/c), Alex Hales, Philip Salt, Ben Stokes, Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid.

India XI: KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma(c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant(w), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh.
