Wavell Hinds elected unopposed as WIPA president

Kingston, Feb 11 (IBNS): Wavell Hinds has been re-elected unopposed as the President of the West Indies Players' Association.

The board of directors of the West Indies Players’ Association for the 2015-2017 term was elected during an Annual General Meeting on Feb 9.

"The incumbent Wavell Hinds was re-elected unopposed as President, the new Vice President is Nixon Mclean, whose position was previously Honourary Treasurer. Wayne Lewis retained his position as Honourary Secretary; the new Honourary Treasurer is former West Indies Captain and Wicketkeeper Ridley Jacobs and the newly elected Asst Honourary Secretary is Windward Islands Volcanoes Captain Liam Sebastien," wiplayers.com reported.
