New Delhi/IBNS: A Supreme Court bench comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta Tuesday heard petitions seeking cross-verification of the votes cast with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).

Kolkata, July 21 (IBNS) West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Sunday said the BJP won the polls in the state by using fraudulent methods and by misusing the Election Commission and the voting machinery. She said the elections that brought BJP to power is not history but a mystery and it was owing to the fixing of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

New Delhi, May 21 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a 100 per cent matching of Voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) slips with Electronic Voting Machines (EMVs) while counting of votes for Lok Sabha polls on May 23, media reports said.
