Cabinet approves signing of MoU between India, Nepal over Tourism development

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IBNS): The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday gave its approval for signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Nepal for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism.
The Memorandum is proposed to be signed during the visit of Modi to Nepal from Nov 25th to 28th.
 
The signing of MoU will help India in increasing foreign tourist arrivals from Nepal to the country. 
 
This in turn will result in economic development and employment generation. 
 
India and Nepal have enjoyed a strong historical and long economic and political relationship. 
 
The two parties now desiring to strengthen and further develop the established relationship propose to sign a MoU for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism.
