Abu Dhabi, Apr 27 (IBNS): Etihad Airways hosted a special reception on Wednesday night at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi to mark the UAE launch of 'Runway to Runway', the airline's rewards programme specially designed to support the fashion community's international travel requirements.

Celebrated Somali-American model, Halima Aden, flew in from the US as the airline’s special guest for the evening.

The gathering also included personalities from the fashion and lifestyle media, and regional social influencers.

All guests were awarded top tier Gold Status founding membership with ‘Runway to Runway’ and a complimentary spa treatment at Sense, A Rosewood Spa.

The UAE event follows the highly successful global launch of Runway to Runway, which took place at an exclusive dinner at New York Fashion Week: The Shows on 8 February.

Etihad Airways co-hosted the celebrity soiree with Lauren Santo Domingo, co-founder of online luxury fashion retailer, Moda Operandi.
