Jet Airways strengthens domestic network with 31 additional daily frequencies

Mumbai, Apr 23 (IBNS): Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, has significantly strengthened its domestic service network with the introduction of 31 additional flights in the 2015 summer schedule. The additional daily Boeing 737 frequencies will help Jet Airways improve connectivity and provide greater convenience and choice for its guests.
The airline has introduced a total of 23 inbound and outbound flights from the country’s national capital New Delhi to key metros, Tier II and Tier III cities namely, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Lucknow, Patna, Srinagar, Jaipur and Pune. Some of these flights include late night departures from Delhi to the three metros as well as to Pune and Bengaluru. The airline has also increased frequencies to Pune, Goa and Imphal looking at the growing demand in the sector owing to buoyant business and tourist travel.
 
The 31 new additional frequencies are in line with Jet Airways’ strategy to deliver a full service, consistent, high quality travel experience to its guests across India.
 
Raj Sivakumar, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said, "The additional frequencies in the 2015 summer schedule will significantly enhance travel options for our guests. We have witnessed a growing demand in the domestic sector for business and leisure travel. We are confident that these new flights will prove popular with our guests."
