Bhopal/IBNS: The Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025 will be inaugurated by state Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Bhopal on Saturday.

The grand event, organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, will be held at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal.

It will run from October 11-13.

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, will be the Special Guest on the occasion.

The event will be presided over by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Religious Trusts, Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi.

Prior to the inauguration, Chief Minister Yadav will hold one-on-one meetings with distinguished delegates to discuss opportunities for tourism investment and collaborations.

Later, in the presence of the Chief Minister, an MoU will be signed between the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at Bharat Bhavan.

Launches, Awards, and Strategic Collaborations

During the inauguration, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will present Letters of Award (LoA) to investors, including Mr. Vinayak Kalani, for developing a Golf Course in Raisen district and a Wellness Resort in Khandwa district.

To further boost tourism promotion, MoUs will be exchanged with influencer marketing agency Curly Tales, Balaji Telefilms, and Atavi Bird Foundation. The Impact Assessment Report of the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy will also be released on this occasion.

The event will also mark the launch of Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s new International Television Commercial (TVC). Letters of Award will be distributed to Ease My Trip for the establishment and operation of tent cities at Hanuwantiya, Mandu, and Tamia; and to Aagman for setting up and operating a tent city in Orchha.

In a major initiative to improve connectivity and ease travel for tourists, Letters of Award will also be presented to Jet Serve Aviation Pvt. Ltd. and Trans Bharat Aviation Pvt. Ltd. for commencing helicopter services across key tourist destinations in the state.

Experiencing the Essence of ‘Incredible Madhya Pradesh’ through FAM Trips

In line with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s vision to promote Madhya Pradesh’s tourism potential and attract investment, a series of Pre and Post FAM Trips have been organized under MPTM 2025. A total of 14 curated FAM trips are being held, with participation from over 200 delegates from India and abroad.

The pre-FAM trips covered renowned destinations such as Khajuraho, Panna, Orchha, Bhimbetka, Madhai, Pachmarhi, Indore, Maheshwar, Mandu, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Kanha, Pench, and Bhopal.

Through these experiential journeys, the delegates explored Madhya Pradesh’s rural lifestyle, ancient heritage, rich traditions, and natural beauty up close. They also engaged with local art forms, handicrafts, and community life — gaining an authentic understanding of the “Incredible Madhya Pradesh” experience.

These interactions have deepened the appreciation of both domestic and international tour operators for the state’s diverse tourism offerings and are expected to pave the way for new collaborations, promotional opportunities, and tourism investments in the near future.
