Kabul, June 3 (IBNS) The Afghanistan spy agency on Wednesday said two people, who were planners and masterminds behind the terrorist attack on Park Palace guesthouse in country's capital Kabul, have been arrested, media reports said.

"The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement Ghulam Aziz also known as Salahuddin and Abdul Wakil, an employee of a Kabul-based Madeera NGO, who orchestrated the attack, were arrested in Sang-e-Naweshta locality of Kabul," Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

"“The arrested individuals have confessed to their involvement in planning the attack,”  the agency reported quoting the statement.

According to reports, both the arrested person are active members of the Haqqani network.
