Armed men attempt to target Pakistani flight?

Karachi, Oct 7 (IBNS): Armed men tried to target a passenger flight in Pakistan's Peshawar city on Tuesday, media reports said.

"Police sources have revealed that a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight had come under attack 5am on Tuesday, however the plane was not damaged and it landed safely at Bacha Khan International Airport," Geo News reported.

The attackers were armed with grenades and sub machine guns(SMG),. the police said quoting eye witnesses.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) spokesperson has denied any such attack.

"Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson has also denied any such incident stating that there has been no report of any firing incident on any flight at Peshawar," Geo News reported.
