Washingon; US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said the challenge from the Chinese Communist Party is existential.

Pompeo said it challenges prosperity and security of the US.

Pompeo said during an interaction with Ben Shapiro of The Ben Shapiro Show: "This challenge from the Chinese Communist Party is the most existential threat to the United States and its prosperity and security. "

Pompeo said President Donald Trump is the first president to have recognized that.
