Dhaka: Dhamrai road accident leaves three killed

Dhaka: A bus hit a pick-up van in Bangladesh's Dhaka-Aricha highway which left three people dead, media reports said.

Confirming the incident, Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Golora Highway Police Station, told The Daily Star the accident happened around 7:30am near Bathuli bus stand.

According to reports,  a Paturia-bound bus belonging to Falguni Paribahan hit the Dhaka-bound pickup van.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, the OC told the newspaper.

The vehicle has been seized.
