Donald Trump condemns London Tube explosion

Washington/London, Sept 15 (IBNS): United States President Donald J. Trump on Friday condemned the tube train explosion which occurred in south-west London leaving 22 people injured.

In a tweeted, the US President wrote: "Another attack in London by a loser terrorist.These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!"

The explosion occurred in a small white bucket which was present inside the train.

Hours later, the police have declared the incident as a 'terrorist attack'.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, the senior national coordinator for CT policing, has declared it as a terrorist incident, read the Metropolitan Police website.

Officers from the Met and British Transport Police attended the scene, along with colleagues from the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service.

The station is still cordoned off.
