Beirut, Aug 27 (Xinhua/UNI) Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that the drone which crashed in Beirut's southern suburbs had carried 5.5 kg of C-4 explosives, the National News Agency reported.

"Following investigations by experts, it is affirmed that the Beirut southern suburbs had been subject to an attack by two explosive drones early Sunday morning. The first malfunctioned while the other exploded," Hezbollah said in a statement.

An Israeli drone went down over southern suburbs of Beirut on Sunday, while another one exploded in the air, causing severe damage to a media center of Hezbollah.

The Lebanese Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned on Sunday that his fighters will bring down any Israeli drone that violates Lebanese airspace.
