Is Trump suffering from severe health ailments?
Washington, Dec 1 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump is a very busy man. He's often seen tweeting about things that bothers the US (read him). At times, Trump tweets about his likability, his approval ratings et al. But the looming question about him doing the rounds this week is: Is Trump suffering from a serious health ailment?
According to Dr Lance Dodes, a former assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at Harvard Medical School who now works for the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, Trump is a very 'sick man'.
Dodes told US cable channel MSNBC that the US President is psychotic.
"It’s another example of his being close to psychosis when he’s stressed," the doctor said. "The simple explanation for it, which people don’t want to hear, is that he’s not in control of himself. This is what we mean when we say that somebody is becoming psychotic or is briefly psychotic."
The comments were made after the US President re-tweeted three anti-Islamic videos.
It's safe to say, through his actions so far, he has placed himself in the higher echelons of 'Heads of state who hate Muslims'.
"All of his delusional ideas come up when he is stressed in some way, and then he loses track of reality because it doesn’t fit what he needs to believe,” the doctor added.
Not only is Trump psychotic, according to the doctor, he is also dangerous.
Dodes said, Trump's "an enormous present danger to us from the standpoint of creating a nuclear war and even from the standpoint of doing what he can to destroy democracy as well as attacking ethnic groups in the way he’s done."
"This is a very sick man. He is truly very sick," the doctor said.
Trump also got into an altercation with British Prime Minister Theresa May over a tweet and as a result, had to drop his 2018 UK visit.
He was scheduled to formally open America’s new London embassy.
After the Brit pointed out that it was wrong on Trump's part to give consent to Islamophobic tweets, the US President shot back: "Theresa May, don't focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!”
Meanwhile, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said that during Trump's campaign, sources close to the US President told him that the billionaire was suffering from early stages of dementia.
Scarborough made the comments during Morning Joe, his political commentary show.
"You have somebody inside the White House that the New York Daily News says is mentally unfit," he said.
"That people close to him say is mentally unfit, that people close to him during the campaign told me had early stages of dementia," he added.
